Being a Foster Failure

When I first started fostering for the HHBR, I heard other volunteers and boardmembers talk about foster failures, these are the fosters who have like me, volunteered to take in a basset hound until the right family is found. We care for the dogs, take them on walks, feed them and bring them to the Meet and Greets on Saturdays. We also talk to the possible families and help match the right family with the right dog. In March of this year, I too fell into the catagory of a foster failure....Yes, I adopted Tiffany!(I have shortened it to Tiffy)
Tiffy came to me as a temporary foster and after couple of weeks, I was hooked. I couldn't stand the thought of her leaving and going to live with another family. She is spunky and querky and I think you can see she is adorable too. She matches, not just with Tucker's coloring, but matches with my family of dogs. She brings out the playfulness in both Cooper and Tucker and provides me with lots a laughs! Who can ask for more? I'll try to add in her bark, on my blog....it's a hoot to hear...well my neighbors would probably disagree that at 7:30 in the morning, it's not funny.
