Authors Luncheon October 2009

My cousin, Steve is the book editor for the San Antonio Express newspaper and one of his duties besides reading and review books is he gets to select the authors for the 18th annual San Antonio Express-News Book & Author Luncheon benefiting the Phase I Clinical Research Program at the Cancer Therapy & Research Center at the University of Texas Health Science Center.  This year, I was able attend!

My Aunt Dee, Steve's Mom, invited my Mom and I to attend and because she had purchased extra tickets, my Dad also went. It was such a treat to meet the authors and I even met and talked to Heloise! Pretty cool.

I got Emery a signed copy of the latest Skippyjon Jones book, Lost in Spice and it's pretty adorablito! I think Skippyjon might say that! Here are some pictures of Judy signing and drawing pictures in the book and I even got my buddy Logan one too, for his birthday.But here is the funny thing, I accidentally told them Landon so she signed it to him!!  I am probably in big trouble! Sorry Logan.
