Christmas Parade in Downtown Georgetown

The City of Georgetown's annual Christmas Parade was last Saturday, December 4th. My Mom and I took Em and Eli downtown to see the parade and do some shopping along the square.

Eli, wasn't scared of the sirens, horses, kids or even Santa! He just watched and took it all in. Emery was very excited and yelled at all of the people, "Merry Christmas, people in the trailer!" "Merry Christmas, Police guy on bike"  She sounded like George Bedford in A Wonderful Life

One of the Churches, sponsored a Bethlehem Village were you could walk through, what might be a small Village in Jerusalem.  At the end of the "village" they had a live Nativity scene, with Mary, Joseph and all of the manger animals.  The donkey didn't much like the sheep, but we all thought it was good!

To wrap up our eventful day, we headed down to Dos Salsas for a margarita and some nachos! We had just a short wait and this is were most of my pictures came from.  The best one is of Eli and it looks like he is screaming; he isn't.  Emery told him to "say cheese" and this is what he does! He doesn't say, "Cheeeeese", he just squints his eyes and smiles with his mouth open and Emery just caught it at that point in time. I think it's funny and so Eli!

Enjoy!
