Christmas 2008

Again this Christmas, my family drew names for Christmas presents but we all got the kids presents. Actually, even if you didn't draw someones name, you still got a present. This year, I got the Johnson-Bell's a family gift, which I think I like that better. I'll have to remember that for next year!

We had a nice lunch and then began opening gifts. Emery was very excited and I think she ran out of gifts first! But she did get some really cool scrapbook supplies. She said she wanted to make Eli a scrapbook, so my Mom got her all fixed up. Emery also did some shopping for her parents this year too! A small lesson on how its better to give then to receive....but she is only 5!

Eli was a good sport through the entire day, he hasn't been feeling good lately and didn't take a very long nap but you would really never know it. He laughs and giggles a lot. He is a very good baby, almost toddler!

It was a great Christmas and as always, I am sad that it's over! I was very excited this year, I think because I too learned that it's better to give than to receive and I not 5!
