Oh, Yes we did!

We just finished our 2nd week of 2009 and I am on track - I have not missed one day of walking the dogs! That means I am on day 18 of walks. When we had our garage sale last Saturday, I even walked the dogs over to my parents house so that we could have a howling-free garage sale! The thought of all of that commotion makes my head spin.
Earlier in the first week of January, it was raining and cold, but we went anyway. On two mornings I must admit, that it was just around the block. I thought the water must be freezing on their feet. The dogs didn't complain about the short walk, so that is good! The rest of the time, from what I remember, was cold but not unbearable. I talk mostly to myself and prepare myself the day ahead. Practicing speeches I am going to give to my kids or even planning how I will write my Yearbook resignation letter - which I still have to do! So I am very busy in my head. Well, I do talk in a whisper but it's 5:00 in the morning, who is watching! Well, except for the creepy guys who walks in the park. George, my former foster, hated that guy - so I steer clear of him myself. I use to try to be nice and speak, but I am trusting Georges instincts now!
It is getting close to our walk time, I have a two bassets sitting at feet, exuding these mournful whines. How do they know what time it is?

Enjoy

Good for you! We, too, have been trying to exercise daily (we started back in July and have been quite successful..missed lots of days, but we're even jogging some now!) I have now joined facebook...think I invited you, but anyways, you should join. It's very addictive! Hope you're well!
