Summer Time

It's summertime! I can't believe it is here already.
Sunday, my mom and Emery and I went to Schilterbahn for an overnight visit and we had a really good time. Emery could have a good time in a puddle and my mom has a good time being with her. So those two were so happy. I went along, just to go and I am glad I did.

Emery went down the rapids in just her lifejacket..... no tube!
I was so proud of her. I told her how when I was a kid, Stacey and our cousins use to do go down without a tube too. I mentioned to her too that even Brodie, Stacey's dog went down the Comal River without a tube. After a couple of rides down together holding hands, she went solo, in her own tube and then as we were walking back to the ladder to ride again, I said we should try it without a tube. I was really just teasing her but she agreed! I am so glad she did too. The look on her face was sheer excitement and I know she was so proud of herself.

We are planning a trip back down to New Braunfels before the summer is over, to spend the day in the River and I am looking forward to seeing Stacey and Emery going down the River together!
