Jamaica Trip 2009

Our Jamaica Trip was terrific! I can't say enough good things about it. The resort was great, the food was delicious and different, the drinks were plenty and the people were so friendly.

Stacey and I went snorkeling one morning then para-sailing in the afternoon. I think there is a picture of me, I am tiny dot over the ocean!

We went to Dunn's River Falls and climbed the waterfall, that was exciting and breathtaking at the same time! We went to Dolphin Cove and touched the Stingrays, (barbs removed of course!) There is a picture of Stacey and Emery doing that! And those two also went to meet the dolphins. I think they got to swim and ride them too! There might be a picture of Stacey being thrown in the air but they were so far away from my Mom and I, I just took pictures!

One of the other cool things we did, was drive in Jamaica! Well, Stace drove and in Jamaica they drive on the left and the drivers side is located on the right! Just like the British! It was different that is for sure, but Stacey did a great job.

Our last day there, we took it slow and sat by the pool, read, snorkeled and drank! Stacey found a new drink called the Montreal. A family from Montreal were at the resort and the guy suggested she try it. I think she liked it, since she drank 5 of them! I would say she did! Emery, joined up with the kids club and tye-dyed t-shirts and then we all met back at the pool and watched her "run on the magic carpet". The magic carpet is a blue strip of foam the entertainment group puts out in the pool. The idea is start on land and run into the pool on this blue foam and you have to make it all the way to the end and you jump in to the pool. The kids are much better at it than the adults but everyone played on it. Well, I didn't but that goes without saying! We finally left the pool at 6:00 to get dressed for dinner! Not a bad day!
