Snow Day

On February 24 we had a nice covering of snow.  I am not sure what the dogs thought about it but it was sight to see.

In Georgetown, we had a bit more than Round Rock and even Austin.  There was snow on the ground and remnants of Snow People even through the weekend. 

I am glad no one panicked, like most Texans do in ice storms, canceling schools, events and work, but we did have a late start that Wednesday morning.  If they would have canceled school, it would have taken away our 4- day weekend during Easter.  I would much rather have that, then one day in February, when there is snow on the ground!
